Automotive Videography Brisbane : MJS Garage Build Showcase

MJS Garage approached Kehoe Studio to create a cinematic build showcase for their latest performance project. A video designed to highlight their craftsmanship, partners, and workshop culture. The goal was to produce a piece that felt authentic to their brand: clean, detailed, and educational, while still delivering the energy of a modern automotive film. Shot in Tingalpa, Brisbane, the final video blends documentary-style interviews, workshop details, and moving rollers to create a complete story behind the build.

The main challenge in this project was capturing dynamic rolling shots of the vehicle in motion while maintaining a smooth, cinematic feel. Coordinating movement between the car, camera rig, and surrounding environment required careful planning and precise timing. Additionally, building a clean interview setup inside a functioning workshop meant balancing natural movement with a controlled visual aesthetic. The goal was to ensure every frame looked polished while still feeling true to the day-to-day atmosphere of MJS Garage.

The media production for this project focused on capturing the build with a balance of cinematic polish and documentary realism. We combined a controlled interview setup with dynamic workshop coverage, using stabilised motion shots, detailed close-ups, and clean lighting to highlight the craftsmanship behind the vehicle. Rolling shots were filmed with coordinated vehicle movement to achieve smooth, high-energy visuals that matched the tone of the build.

Alongside the video, we produced a full photography suite . Documenting the car, workshop environment, partner involvement, and key mechanical details. The goal was to create a cohesive visual package that MJS Garage could use across YouTube, social content, and brand storytelling.
